Why You Are Not Wealthy (But Read On For One Simple Secret That Can Make You Wealthier Than You Could Ever Imagine!)
Are you wealthy?
If you're not wealthy, that's okay! I'm glad I can write to
you, and talk to you about these things, and help you to
become more successful and wealthy.
If you do well for yourself, and make a good deal of money,
good for you! But why not be wealthier if you can? I just
hope you will be ready for the secret I'm going to reveal
to you today.
I'm not writing these things to build myself up, or to put
anyone down. The purpose of my newsletter is to help
you ... and I have one of the best lessons yet to teach you!
(If you really, truly want to be wealthy and successful,
make sure you read this letter completely, because the
secret I'm going to reveal to you is so simple and easy
that you might miss it if you're not paying attention. You
might also miss it if you expect the secret to be complex
and difficult .... it's not.)
Most people who are successful and wealthy have one thing
in common. It's not their lifestyle, their clothing, what
bank they use, or which jet they fly. It's a lot simpler
than that.
What most people who are successful and wealthy have in
common is a dogged determination to follow through with
their goals, to work their plan, until everything they want
to accomplish is accomplished.
That's it. That's the secret. To be wealthy and successful,
you need a plan (made up of short-, mid-, and long-term
goals), and you need to work that plan.
"But I have goals and a plan already," you are probably
thinking to yourself. Maybe you do, but do your work your
plan? Every day? Do you break your plan down into monthly,
weekly, and daily goals that you check off when you're done?
The difference between success and failure, being wealthy
and being Just Over Broke, is your ability to conceive a
good plan and follow through with it. If you have a plan
now, but you are not as wealthy or successful as you want
to be, it is because you have not made your plan specific
enough or you have not followed through with your plan on
a daily basis.
This is what you need to do: Pull out a piece of paper or
open your word processing program, and at the top of the
page, write down your most wanted goal, and be as specific
as possible. For example, write, "I want to work from home
permanently within six months."
That's a good goal, but how will you do that?
This is how you put your plan together. Start working
backwards, filling in the gaps as you go.
For example, you reason that you need to make $4000/month
($1000/week and $200/day), and you are selling a book
online for $27 (you make $25 profit). It can be any other
vehicle you want to use, but I use selling books because
that's what I’ve done before. Thus, you need to a minimum
of eight copies per day to reach your goals. Make a plan
for how you will do this.
Such a plan might look like this:
Monday—Write article and submit it to 100 sites;
Tuesday—Market in 50 forums related to my topic;
Wednesday—Write and improve Adwords ads; Thursday—Write a
tipsheet to my list; Friday—Run a joint venture with
someone else.
This is a basic plan that you would run every day. You can
make your plan more complex, but in the end it boils down
to working your plan every day.
