About Reading Books Faster

How are you?

I've been travelling lately and I have
just arrived home in Malaysia yesterday.

Phew.

That was tiring.

Probably, I'll be travelling again next
week to the United States. :-)

During my recent trip, my last
stop was in Singapore.

In fact, I ended up buying 3 books
when I was hanging out there. Hey,
they'll be very useful when I'm
killing time at airports!

But what if --

You could read faster?

Instead of taking a week to finish
3 books, you could read 6 books a week!

Hhmm ... or you could read 3 books in
4 days. You decide your own speed.

If you could read faster, you could be
more successful because you would
obviously absorb more information!

If you want to achieve that, then
you should check The 16-Minute
Speed Reading Audio Program at:

http://internetcoachingprogram.com/sr/index.html

Ok, I'm going to read my books now.

Take care.

Warmest regards,

Patric Chan

5 Great Techniques to Realize Your Goals

Goals keep us motivated. But sometimes, people find it too
hard to achieve their goals. Maybe because they have set
long-term goals before setting short-term ones, or they did
not plan their goals carefully.

Goal-setting strategies are important especially for those
who want to achieve long-term goals. Here are five
goal-setting techniques to help you realize them.

1. Start with short-term goals that will lead you to
long-term ones.
Sometimes, people start with short-term
goals unconsciously. Why unconsciously? Some of them may
have considered the goals to be long-term at the time they
planned them; and after achieving a goal, they realize that
they are in fact, looking forward to a longer one. Some are
contented with their short-term goals, but after a while
will realize that they also need to attain long-term ones.

Short-term goals seem to be our set off for longer ones.
They will motivate the person to plan for longer goals, which
will usually take some time before achieving them in full.

2. Make sure you really want the goal. By this, you have to
ask yourself: "Do I really want this goal? Will this goal give
me a better life?" Answering these questions will give you
more passion to achieve your goal. Some people recall their
past to find out why and how they came up with such goal.

3. Speak up. By this, it means you shouldn't keep your
goals to yourself only. Sharing your goals could help you
get the support you may need from others. Some people are
too shy to tell others about their goals for reasons like
they are afraid they cannot achieve these in the end, or
they lack the courage to speak up their minds. This is not
a good habit because when the time comes that you really
need their support, you will have a difficult time to get
such support. You will then have to achieve your goals all
by yourself. Also, sharing the fruits of your goals is
uplifting to the mind and spirit.

4. Write down your goals. This strategy is more advisable
for those who have a long list of goals. After writing
them, it is advisable to review them because this will
encourage you to achieve them.

5. Stay on track and don't give up. Reviewing notes will
help open your mind to see if you are on the right track.
While on track, you may have to face challenges that might
change your personality. A person who is overconfident might
suddenly feel depressed after finding out that he is going
the wrong way in achieving his goal. Thus this might lead to
abandoning the goal. Never be discouraged. Facing obstacles
is a test on how passionate one is to realize his goal.

Now -- Go get your goals.

Power of Positive Thinking (The Glass is Half-Full)

Although you can see that the glass is half-empty, you
chose to see it in a positive way. It is still
half-full, anyway. The absence of half of the volume
of water didn’t even bother you. What mattered was
that it still contains water. If this is how you
answered the question above and how you justified your
answer, then you have a positive way of thinking.

Positive thinking is a way of looking at the brighter
side of life. Everything is good, beautiful, and
light. There are no worries, problems, or fears. In
short, all you see and believe in is, well, positive.
I guess that's already the most suitable word in
describing this way of thinking, which is why it is
the term being used.

This kind of thinking is very powerful in that if you
think that you are going to pass an exam, you are
going to pass; if you think that you'll get noticed by
your crush, you'll get noticed; if you think you will
get promoted at work, then you'll get promoted. This
is how powerful the mind is, particularly positive
mind. Even the famous Clint Eastwood believes in this
general truth that he quoted, "If you think it's going
to rain, it will."

So, how does the power of positive thinking works?

How can it create reality? Do we only have to think of
positive things and then will it happen right away?

That positive thinking really is powerful may be
somehow hard to believe at first, that's why we may
ask certain questions like those above. Because the
mind is working on the information you send it,
positive thinking leads to positive reality. This is
how it works. Yes, we do have to really think of
positive things. But it doesn’t stop there. Remember
the ever-famous cliché "Do your best and God will do
the rest"? You know, it’s true. Aside from believing
in and having faith in something we want to happen, we
have to do something about it.

You can't ace an exam just by sitting on the couch and
watching TV days before taking it, can you?

Let us take into account again the computer as a
metaphor of the human mind. The mind is like a
computer, this time due to the fact that we can
program it with certain functions and tasks.
Sometimes, it even acts as our autopilot.

For instance, we use it when we drive and talk on a
mobile phone at the same time. Therefore, we can
program it with whatever we want to happen. Say, for
example, you want to be attractive. Thus, you say to
yourself "I can be beautiful, healthy and slim." But
for this positive thinking to work, you can't just
leave it at that. You still need to do something.

You need the right self-programming: "I can be
beautiful, healthy, and slim if ...

(a) I'll take enough rest every night;
(b) I'll eat proper balance diet;
(c) I'll do exercises;
(d) I'll brush my teeth every after meal; etc."

And if all these thoughts sink into your system,
you'll see that they wouldn’t be far from happening.

Mind power implies will power. With positive
thinking, one does not stop with I can or I am. There
will always be an I will after it in which it will
cause the realization of his aspirations.

Positive thinking is a powerful tool that helps us
build the life we want. It can make us beautiful and
smart. It can get us the dream job with the excellent
salary we always dreamed of. It can help us find our
one true love. But we have to use them properly and
we have to continue working with them regularly - to
the point where it becomes such a habit that we ought
to say them all the time.

Isn't it better maintaining such thoughts than keeping
worthless ideas inside our head – the stuff we keep
thinking about but doesn't really help us accomplish
anything and, in many cases, may actually push us
backwards?

We should also understand that some affirmations take
some time to take effect. It really depends on where
we are and what we want to accomplish. For example, if
you're unemployed yet want to be a millionaire, well,
in reality, it will take quite some time. You have to
get a job first, and from there, start making the big
money and earn the millions you want.

Successes usually not happen overnight. So the first
step is to focus on how we can accomplish our goal. If
we are on the right place, plus we possess the right
attitude, then it won't be too far.

Warmest regards,

Patric Chan

I'm with Stephen Pierce here in Malaysia. He's
from United States.

This guy amazed me. He's over 6-feet tall and he
really knows how to create wealth. No, he's not a
professional basketball player. :-)

How did I know this guy really knows how to
create wealth?

You see, I was with him the whole day shopping around
Shanghai, China and he shared valuable tips how to
create a million dollar business in China.

Other than that, he showed me some of his businesses ...
Man, he's not kidding when he told me that he has
million-dollar businesses that are churning out money

Stephen had revealed the mindset he personally used

It's called the Power of the Third Influence and
Stephen reveals exactly how it can be your friend or
foe. (It's never neutral.) Stephen's latest creation
has only been available to members of his exclusive

they have used for less than 1% of what they've had to
pay for it.

Now, here's the warning. A huge online company (bigger

Secrets of Creating Wealth and is negotiating to buy
the whole inventory lock, stock, and barrel.

3 Amazing Tips To Successfully Persuade Anyone

Read this.

See?

I've 'persuaded' you to read.

Having excellent persuasion skills is one of the most important
abilities to possess to get anything you want in life.

Why?

We need the support and cooperation of other people to help
us in reaching our goals. The saying "No man is an island" is
an undeniable truth.

Here are some 3 hot tips to effectively influence and persuade
anyone you desire.

1) Enter their world.

You must understand the situation according to their point of
view. Set aside your personal interests and concentrate on them.

Just pretend that if you are them, what would you do? What
would be your opinion? Then take the appropriate action that
would be beneficial to them.

Copy them. Observe how they act, how they speak, and how
they think. If they rub their forehead while they think,
act like them. If they speak at a clear and slow pace, try
to do the same thing. This is called mirroring.

In due time, the people you're mirroring will subconsciously
feel more comfortable with you. It's as if they see
themselves in you.

However, you must proceed with caution. Do not let them be
aware that you are copying them. They might interpret it as
mockery and you'll just get into trouble.

3) Provide them with compelling evidence.

Explain to them how your ideas or suggestions could be the
most effective techniques to implement. Show them undeniable
proof that you have the best product by way of testimonials,
before and after scenarios, and detailed comparisons against
your competitors. Just make sure that all your claims are
true and verifiable. Always maintain a good reputation.

4) Meet their existing needs and desires.

People are self-centered. They are initially concerned with
their own well-being before others. If you can prove that
your proposal will provide more advantageous benefits to them
than to your own, then they will probably accept it.

If you could focus more on their interests, desires, needs,
and expectations, then you would satisfy their cravings for
attention. Moreover, it would show that you really care
about them. Mutual trust and respect would be established.

This is the most important thing to remember when persuading
anyone. No matter how close you are to becoming like them or
how overwhelming your evidence is, if it does not satisfy the
"What's In It For Me?" test, your persuasion efforts will not
produce satisfactory results. Always bear in mind how they
will benefit from your actions.
